About

I’m originally from Kentucky, and earned my honors degree in history from the University of Kentucky.  After finishing my B.A,, I moved to London where I  attended law school at London Guildhall University, obtaining my legal qualification with honors.  I’ve called Seattle home for two decades, and was admitted to the Washington Bar in 2002.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, son and our two dogs, and love pub trivia almost as much as I love movies.  I have served on the boards of non-profits dedicated to educational equity, and to preventing families from experiencing homelessness. My perfect day would be spent drinking Stumptown coffee with Ruth Bader Ginsberg (sadly, time travel would be required) while watching the Green Bay Packers win the Super Bowl.
